New Year, New Beginnings
A few weeks ago we entered the Chinese year of the Fire Horse, last week we had a new moon, and then the Spring Equinox – all about new beginnings, intentions and goals.
When I read the information about the year of the Fire Horse, I knew that message was for me. This year, 2026 is a “1” year (2026 – 2+2+6=10=1), a year for new beginnings!
2025 was the year of the Snake (not my favorite reptile) and a “9” year in numerology, which is a completion, endings (2025 – 2+2+5=9). I had several endings last year, a few which were expected and several which were not – it was a rough year for me and I was very happy to see it end.
I am ready for new beginnings! This year on my birthday this month I enter a new decade and I am excited! I also started a contract position with a new Career Transition company and am excited to work with them.
This leads me to my personal coaching business, which needed an overhaul and revamp! I’ve been working on the revamp over the last few weeks and plan to debut it next week, so stay tuned.
Aires is a fire sign in the Zodiac (no, I don’t know a lot about astrology) and with the energy of the Fire Horse, I fully embrace the new energy of this year.

I can certainly relate to what you wrote, Margaret. 2025 was a challenging year for me, as well, and I am looking forward to new beginnings and my efforts coming to fruition this year. My birthday later this year will mark the start of a new decade for me, too.
